What’s Bit?

Honestly… we're still figuring it out. But at its core, Bit is a location-based app that lets you drop a joke, short story, random thought, or straight-up chaos into your hyper local community.

Set your location, pick a radius (1-25 miles), record your Bit, and boom, it hits nearby feeds instantly. It’s like having the perfect shower thought, only now there’s an audience with a scorecard.

Upvote the good stuff. Downvote the bad. We’ve got a leaderboard where the top 100 Bits will sit. Make it to the top, and you win absolutely nothing…but if we happen to be sitting next to you at Barrows pub we can buy you a beer.

You can also transport to other zip codes (NY and SF are your best bets right now). You can listen in but you CAN’T post into other zip codes, so if you are riffing about the west side highway in SF it might not get the traction you want. Your Bit only goes where you are physically.
